Wang Jixing was born in 1971 in a poor peasant family. As a result of polio, he became physically disabled and grew up in the strange eyes of others. However, he did not have low self-esteem and believed that he could succeed through his own efforts.

When he entered the garment factory, he started from the most elementary work, repairing machines and equipment, checking the quality of garments …… step by step by his own efforts, familiar with the process, and accumulating contacts. 2015, he set up his own small factory. He knows the garment production process very well, and he will be the first to help solve any problems workers encounter.

The starting stage encountered a lot of difficulties, such as recruitment difficulties, but after running around day and night, with the support of the township and customers, tide over the difficulties many times. With hard work and persistence, Wang Jixing’s company increased from the initial dozens of employees to more than a hundred people now, from the original pure processing development to design, production, packaging the whole line development. Today, he still insists on being on the production line every day, working at the earliest and at the latest. This exemplary behavior also inspires the staff, so that everyone consciously pursues quality.

Today there are six people with disabilities working in his factory. An employee who lives in Red Pine Village, who has a hearing impairment and cannot find a job and has to work at home as a farmer, was introduced to Chuangjia Garment Company in 2017 and became a quilting line worker, and now earns more than 4,000 RMB per month.

“With my own bad legs, I know what they can do, such as cutting threads and doing odd jobs like these. If there are disabled friends who are willing to come to work in our company now, I won’t refuse.” Wang Jixing said.

Wang Jixing also takes great care of the employees, and for the convenience of the employees to take care of their homes, they do not need to work overtime in non-special cases. When employees encounter any difficulties at home, he actively helps to solve urgent problems.

When the epidemic broke out in 2020, Wang Jixing learned from the news that the medical staff in front of him was in shortage of protective materials, and when the township allowed him to resume work, he was the first to organize employees to produce protective clothing, masks, etc., to do his best for the logistical support of the epidemic. For Wang Jixing’s decision, the employees and their families were very supportive and completed the task efficiently.

Despite becoming the boss, Wang Jixing still insists on working with the staff in the workshop every day. “The most important thing for customers is our quality, I am a garment factory worker myself, I think I’m still professional in this area, so if I don’t put this ‘professional’ to use, it’s not a waste.” Every day, the earliest work, the latest work, Wang Jixing’s exemplary behavior also inspired the staff, so that everyone consciously to do the best quality of clothing.
